What is a Shimmy Party?

A Shimmy Party can be lots of different things... it can be a "Girls night in", it can be part of a great Bacheloret Party, Sweet 16, 50th birthday party, Bridal Shower, a team building activity or just a fun afternoon activity with some female friends!

Kick off your party by hiring Miriam for an hour to teach a basic belly dance lesson to you and a group of your friends, she'll include teaching classic movements, interesting information about belly dance and then a short and simple choreography that you'll have a great time doing! She'll have you all up and dancing to fun Middle Eastern music before she's done!

There are lots of ways to customize your party - Miriam can come to you or include a studio space for you to come to in your arrangements, she can provide coin scarves, suggestions on Middle Eastern restaurants to go for dinner afterward, or great themed foods to serve your guests.
